A Michael Jackson bronze statue is unveiled today at Guangzhou Sculpture Park in Guangzhou City, China. China fans donated about $23,000 to build the statue as a tribute to honour Michael.

DJ J.Period and director Spike Lee pay tribute to Michael Jackson with a limited edition release "Man or the Music", an 80-minute mixing of MJ classics, rare demo tracks, remixes and interview sound bites. This reminds us Michael's legacy will always be his music.
The release of the mix coincided with the Spike Lee's 2nd annual Michael Jackson birthday celebration "Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson" in New York’s Prospect Park. Prior to the Lifetime Achievement Award presentation, there was a tribute performance from Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher joining Michael's voice singing to Earth Song accompanied by the 3D Earth Song mini movie. They did a wonderful job, however I cannot help to notice how Michael's voice stand out against them.

A Hong Kong artist Alex To, who is a super fan of Michael Jackson build a 1:1 scale copper statue as a tribute to Michael. The statue was unveiled on 7th Oct '09. It is in the compound of Shan Yuan Temple, located in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong.

The show started off with a tribute to Michael Jackson. Madonna gave a moving speech on Michael followed by a dance tribute. Janet Jackson performed "Scream," the duet she and Michael recorded together in 1995. Janet matched footage of Michael’s dancing in the music video move-for-move as it played on a screen behind her.
