On Aug 15th, Michael Jackson was inducted into The Dance Hall of Fame. Marlon Jackson accepted the award on behalf of Michael. The event took place at the Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs. Michael definitely deserves to be inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame, his contributions to the craft are undeniable, and evident anew with each and every generation of dancers. He was an innovator, a true visionary. His legacy is going to continue to inspire countless people indefinitely.

Michael Jackson Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at 2010 Grammys

Thousands gathered to honour Michael Jackson on the biggest night of the music industry. Michael was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award during the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Prince and Paris received the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of their beloved father. They were composed and gave wonderful speeches. To support them on stage were their cousins 3T. The audience remained standing throughout their speeches and gave them a rounding applause. They certainly made their father proud, Michael must be smiling from above. They made us the fans proud too.
Prior to the award presentation, there was a tribute performance from Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Usher joining Michael's voice singing to Earth Song accompanied by the 3D Earth Song mini movie.

Thriller inducted into Library of Congress National Film Registry

Michael Jackson's Thriller has been inducted into the Library of Congress' National Film Registry, the first music video ever to do so. It will now rest among the nation's treasures in the world's largest archive of film, TV and sound recordings.

This ever-popular short film, directed by John Landis, is thus considered a work of enduring importance to American culture and worthy of preservation. Each year, beginning in 1989, the registry has added films it considers culturally, historically or aesthetically significant. 'Thriller' brings the total number of films on the registry to 525.

Michael said "Everyday create your history", he live by those words through his arts.

Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist
Favorite Pop/Rock Album for "Number Ones"
Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist
Favourite Soul/R&B Album for "Number Ones"

Michael missed out on Best Artist Of The Year to Taylor Swift. He will always be the Best Artist every year to all of us. We love you Mike, forever in our hearts. I leave you with Mike's acceptance speech from AMA 1980 where he won 3 few awards for Off The Wall (I think he should have won more for this wonderful album).
